  • Heel-side front – 6° cant, flat inside foil / Heel-side rear – 3° cant, flat inside foil

The Ryan Burch Asym set should arguably be the go-to asym set on the planet earth. No one has messed with, tested, and dialed in the asym concept more than Ryan Burch. The toe side fin is from the Burch Twin. The heel side fins are Ryan’s unique paddle concept – inspired by George Greenough’s paddle fins and further influenced by Daniel “Tomo” Thompson’s fin experimentation. The heel side fins have a stubby outline, but the cutaway trailing edge opens up the fin in transition and on rail. The compatibility of these three fins is unmatched. A frontside bottom turn will feel drivey, quick, and full of power – and the heel side will feel responsive, buttery, smooth, and loose. The name of the game here is keeping each rail engaged and each transition harmoniously balanced.
